BOOKINGS
- By signing the booking form the party leader confirms the acceptance of the terms and conditions as stated.
- The terms and conditions shall be binding on the person(s)booking and intending to occupy the premises.
- Bookings by parties of guests who are all under the age of 21 will not be accepted.
- Pets are not permitted.
- To ensure comfort, security and peace of mind of guests, the villa is non-smoking and registered with the State Authorities in full compliance with all relevant legislation.
RENTAL
- The villa rental period is normally Saturday-to-Saturday.
- The villa is available from 1600 hours local time on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 1100 hours on the day of departure; unless alternative arrangements are previously agreed with the management (a charge of $50) vacating the villa after this time will incur a charge of $100.
- A request for mid week rental will be considered, dependant on availability but may incur a surcharge.
- A cleaning fee of $40 will be charged for short stays of 5 days or less.
PAYMENT DETAILS
- A non-refundable deposit of $200 USD or £125 Sterling is due within 7 days of your initial reservation and must be returned with the completed Booking Form.
- Booking will be only confirmed once your cheque has cleared.
SECURITY/BREAKAGE BOND
- A refundable security/breakage deposit of $250 must be paid at the time of check in at Superior Management Office Florida.
- Superior Management check the inventory prior to your arrival and after your departure and will advise of any costs of breakages etc. These may include additional cleaning costs for spills, stains etc
- Florida has a sub-tropical climate and care must be taken with food left uncovered. Apart from spoiling and contaminating, food left uncovered can attract insects very quickly. Any added costs for pest control services incurred from lack of care may be passed on to you.
- Trash/rubbish collection is Mondays and Thursdays. Please place trash/rubbish bins by the curb for collection on trash days ONLY. There will be a $50 charge every time trash/rubbish is left by the curb on a none collection day. This charge will be deducted from your security deposit.
- We reserve the right to retain the security/breakage deposit (either in part or full) to cover breakages, damage, additional cleaning services or non-return of the keys. Receipts for repairs/replacements will be provided in the unlikely event that such retention of the security/breakage deposit is required.
KEY
- You will be provided with one key for the villa. If you lock yourself out, you are to phone the management company immediately, who will arrange re-entry into the villa.
- A charge for their service will be incurred, depending on the call out time ($25 in office hours, $100 out of office hours).
SAFETY and SECURITY
- Due to State Fire Regulations, under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons stated on the Booking Form occupy the property. (maximum ten people, including children)
- Children must be supervised at ALL TIMES whilst in the pool area.
- Glass is NOT permitted in the pool area. Plastic glasses and plates etc. are provided.
CANCELLATION by the OWNERS
- The owners will always attempt to satisfy your booking.
- In the unlikely event that circumstances beyond our control necessitate cancellation of the booking we will refund any monies paid by the party (without interest, compensation and consequential loss of any kind).
CANCELLATIONS by GUESTS:
- Notice of cancellation can only be accepted in writing. If there is a problem, PLEASE CALL US.
- In the event of your needing to cancel the following conditions will apply:
- More than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date, the loss of the £125 deposit.
- 5 - 8 weeks prior to the arrival date, the loss of 50% of the total rental costs.
- Within 5 weeks of the arrival date, the loss of the total rental costs (not including security deposit).
- A party who fail to pay their final balance by the due date, (i.e. 8 weeks prior to arrival), may lose their booking and deposit.
- A reminder for all bookings will be sent out approximately one month prior to the due date. If we do not receive the payment, we will contact the head of the party.
- If there is still no response, by seven days from the date of reminder, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit lost.
- Please ensure you have travel insurance to cover your losses if cancellation is due to an insured event beyond your control.
FORCE MAJEURE
- The owners and their agents accept no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage or alterations to the terms of this booking caused by events beyond the owner's or their agents’ control. This includes but is not restricted to war, civil commotion, flight delays or cancellations, technical difficulties with transportation, alteration or cancellation of schedules by carriers, adverse weather conditions, fire, flood, industrial dispute or any other event beyond their control.
LIABILITY – DISCLAIMER
- It is your responsibility to ensure that children are always supervised properly in and around the pool and inside the villa.
- The owners and their agents reserve the right of entry at all times. (This includes such workers as pool maintenance crews and gardeners).
COMPLAINTS
- In the unlikely event of a problem arising regarding the villa whilst you are on holiday, in the first instance contact the management company who will seek to resolve the matter speedily.
